Pinning & Taping machine for stack preparation before the PCB drilling process. Executes simultaneously the pinning and taping operation on the shortest edges (pin edges) and with a second cycle only the taping on the longest edges.

Working Process

The Multi Layer boards are positioned on the working table and coinciding the holes on the centring pins. The pinning heads down stroke, the pins insertion are activated from two buttons which must be pushed simultaneously. After the return of the centring pin under the working table is possible unload the pinned stack and the machine will be ready for the next cycle.

Pinning machine for stack preparation prior to drilling process

Working cycle: The boards are positioned on the working table against the position stops on the backside. The stack during the drilling process is held in position by two pressure feet. Two synchronized drilling heads positioned under the table coming up making the holes from the bottom.

Two vibrators are connected by two pipes to the pressure feet that assure the pin feeding. After the drilling operation two pin drifts insert automatically the pins. The distance between holes/pins is adjustable without any restriction and the distance is readable by a digital counter as well as the stop position on the back (Y axis).
