Vacancy:
In order to expand our growing organization, we are looking for a motivated Field Service & Process Engineer (jr./sr.) in order to perform service & process support on our Plasma equipment.
Part of your daily task responsibilities will contain the following items;
- Preparing the Automated Optical Inspection machine for installation and give customer training on site.
- Work closely together with our suppliers and customers on new future developments.
- Perform service and provide customer support in case of a machine down situation.
- Perform annual preventive maintenance in order to reduce downtime.
- Analyze defective parts and problems and update the preventive maintenance check- and parts list to improve customer experience.

Function and training path:
Because we are a close-knit team and want to retain our engineers for a long time, we find it important that our specialists find a good balance between work and leisure time. When you are not on the road we have a very flexible attitude to enjoy extra free time.
On average, our engineers spend half their time "on the job". Planning, preparations and reporting take place at the office. The initial focus will lie on learning our range of Optical Inspection Systems and to be expanded in the future to other products.
After your technical training, the goal is to grow further into a more commercial role also. This will include discussing the technological advantages of our products with the customers and include customer visits, together with a senior colleague to help build up your experience level. This will lead to become a more independent engineer that can visit customers on your own. Ofcourse, the Team will always be there to back you up. Our activities are performed on regular working days. There are no emergency services during the night or at the weekends.
The Offer:
We offer a one-year contract to start with, after which a permanent contract with an attractive salary and more than excellent terms of employment becomes available for further development if you are proven suitable.
Description:
- Due to the nature of the job with travelling involved, you are at least 24 years old.
- You have successfully finalised your education in mechanical engineering and/or mechatronics.
- Experience is a bonus but we deem willingness to learn and a no-nonsense mentality more important.
- You have a good understanding of computer hardware en Microsoft tools.
- You can work independently, are analytical and work systematically, with a healthy proactive attitude.
- You are strong in your communication and you enjoy working in an international environment.
- You are fluent in English. Additional languages as German and or French are a plus.
- You live in The Netherlands (Breda +/- 60km) or you are willing to move here.
